Change or cancel your plan
Subscriptions are managed here on the web, not in the app.
You can subscribe two ways — in the iPad app, or here on the web. Both unlock the same plans on every device on your account. Where you bought it decides where you change or cancel it, and that is the one thing worth remembering.
Subscribe in the app
- Open SettingsAccountPlan.
- Pick a plan and whether you want it monthly or yearly, then confirm with Apple.
Subscribe on the web
- Sign in and open Billing.
- Choose a plan and pay.
- On the iPad, sign out and back in if you want the new plan to apply immediately rather than at the next check.
Change or cancel
Do it wherever you bought it. Fotova cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you — that contract is between you and Apple.
- Bought in the app — open SettingsAccountPlan and choose Manage subscription, which opens Apple’s own sheet. You can also reach it in iOS Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
- Bought on the web — open Billing and use the customer portal to change payment details, download invoices, or cancel.
Either way, your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for and your account then drops to the free plan. Canceling does not delete your events or photos. To remove your data as well, see Delete your account, which is a different and irreversible thing.
Restore a purchase
On a new iPad, or after reinstalling, the app may show Free until it has asked Apple what you own. Open SettingsAccountPlan and choose Restore purchases. It finds App Store purchases made with your Apple Account; a web subscription is already attached to your Fotova account and needs nothing restored.
