Edit the SMS message

The text guests receive with their photos, and the email sender that sits beside it.

The text guests receive with their photos. It is worth writing yourself: the message arrives from a number they do not recognize, moments after they walked away from a booth, and it needs to read as expected rather than as spam.

Edit it

  1. Open the event, then SettingsSharingMessage.
  2. Tap SMS message and write your text. Leave it empty to use the default.

Writing a good one

  • Name the event in the first few words. “Your photos from Sarah & Tom’s wedding” is recognized before the message is even opened.
  • Keep it short. Long messages split into several, which costs more and looks worse.
  • Say who it is from if you are the studio rather than the host. Guests met your booth, not your company name.

The email sender

Email has its own sender address in the same section, shown with its verification state. A verified sender is what keeps photos out of spam folders, so check it before an event rather than after the complaints.
