Exit the booth

The way out is deliberately hidden. Here is where it is and how to use it.

The way out is hidden on purpose. A visible “exit” button is a button a guest will press, and the booth is often unattended.

Leaving the booth

  1. Press and hold the top-right corner of the screen. There is nothing drawn there — the corner itself is the control.
  2. Keep holding. After the hold time — two seconds by default — the PIN pad appears.
  3. Enter your operator PIN. You are returned to the operator app.

Adjusting the hold

SettingsKiosk & securityExit hold sets how long the corner must be held. Longer is safer at a busy event; shorter is easier for staff who are doing it between every session.

If you are also using Guided Access

Guided Access is an iOS lock and sits outside Fotova, so the hidden corner cannot release it. End the Guided Access session first — triple-click the top button and enter its passcode — then use the corner and PIN to leave the booth. Two locks, two keys, in that order.
