Extra shots and curate mode

Shoot more frames than the template needs, and decide whether guests pick the keepers.

The template decides how many photos it needs. These two settings decide how many the booth actually takes, and who picks the keepers.

Extra shots

SettingsCaptureSession → Extra shots takes more frames than the template needs. With a four-slot strip and two extras, the booth shoots six and there is room to drop the blinks.

Curate mode

Curate mode lets guests choose which shots make the strip. Without it, the booth uses the frames in the order they were taken and guests go straight to effects.

  • On — better keepsakes, longer sessions. Pair it with extra shots, or there is nothing to choose between.
  • Off — faster, and the right answer for a queue.
