Create an event
Every session belongs to an event. Set one up with the client's branding before the day.
An event is one job: a wedding, a launch party, a brand activation. Everything a session produces belongs to one, and the event carries the branding guests see. Set it up before the day rather than in the car park.
Create it
- From Events, tap + New event.
- Give it a name, date and venue. These are for you — searching a year of events by venue is easier than by date.
- Open the event and set its branding: the accent color, and the client’s logo if they have one. This is what guests see on the attract screen and on their strip.
What else lives on an event
- Templates — which print layouts guests can choose from. One template means guests skip the choice entirely. See Create a print template.
- Prompts — the words shown between shots. Worth tailoring: “kiss the bride” lands differently at a corporate launch.
- Stickers and backdrops — what guests can add afterwards.
- Retention — how long the gallery link keeps working before the photos are deleted. Chosen per event within your plan’s limit; the booth states the window to guests as it asks for their details.
Events sync across your iPads
Everything above is stored on your account, so an event you set up on one iPad appears on another signed in to the same account. Printer choices, the kiosk PIN and language settings are deliberately not synced — those describe the iPad in your hand, not the job.
