Delete your account
What is removed, what is kept, and what it does to a live booth.
Deleting your account is immediate and cannot be undone. You can do it from the iPad app or here on the web — both do exactly the same thing.
Delete it
- On the web, open Account. On the iPad, open SettingsAccount.
- Choose Delete account and type the confirmation word.
What happens
- A web subscription is canceled first. If that fails, nothing else is deleted — so you are never left paying for an account that no longer exists.
- An App Store subscription is not, because only Apple can cancel one. Fotova stops before deleting anything and shows you Apple’s subscription sheet. Cancel there, then confirm again. If you confirm without canceling, the account is still deleted and Apple keeps charging you until you cancel it yourself.
- Your events, sessions, photos and delivery records are destroyed, including the files in storage. Guest gallery links stop working.
- Your sign-in is removed, and every iPad on the account is signed out.
- A minimal billing record is kept without your name attached, because tax and accounting rules require it.
Before you delete
Download anything you want to keep first. There is no grace period and no export afterwards — once it is gone we cannot recover it for you, which is the point of doing it properly.
